JA is the world’s largest organization dedicated to inspiring and preparing young people to succeed in a global economy. Through a dedicated volunteer network, JA of Western CT provides hands-on, in-school and after-school programs focuses on work readiness, entrepreneurship, and financial literacy.

Junior Achievement’s work readiness curriculum focuses on connecting the dots between what is being taught in the classroom and the relevance of information for job readiness. JA helps to bridge this career education gap. JA students share that the workforce development skills provided them with the opportunity to learn career readiness that will help their youth career development. JA students learn work readiness skills they will need to be successful in the future.
